Master planning and conceptual design for phased redevelopment of the entire 600 block located at 5th avenue, New Westminster, BC.

The mixed use redevelopment consisted of lower podium commercial level composed of retail and 2 levels of office space around central common courtyards, two high-rise residential towers, one congregate care living tower, one medical office and support mid-rise building, amenity and recreational facilities. It also includes a 4- level underground parking with bicycle storage and utility / storage areas. The residential towers, with a total area of 580,000 sq ft, were 24 and 20 levels high above the podium, with the congregate care tower at 17 levels with the existing medical building upgraded to meet the current codes and seismic requirements.
